Recipes:
Matcha Latte
½ tsp matcha powder
1 tbsp cold water
100 ml hot water
300 ml milk
Dried roses to taste
Preparation:
Froth the milk in a milk frother. Stir the matcha in a small bowl with cold water until smooth. Add hot water and whisk for about 1 minute until frothy. Pour the matcha tea into a cup, add the milk and froth, and crumble the rose petals and sprinkle them on top.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
2 tbsp pumpkin puree
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp allspice
2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tablespoons brown sugar
500 ml milk
2 espresso shots
Preparation:
Combine all spices. Combine the puree, sugar, and ½ teaspoon of spice mix per serving in a saucepan and simmer for about 5 minutes. Prepare espresso and mix thoroughly with the pumpkin spice. Strain the espresso through a fine sieve to remove any coarse spice residue. Divide the spiced espresso between the cups. Froth the milk until hot and pour over the cups. Sprinkle some spice mix over the milk foam as a garnish and serve.
Iced Vanilla Latte
Preparation:
For the syrup, halve the vanilla pod, scrape out the seeds, and place everything in a saucepan with water, sugar, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 20 minutes. Fill glasses 2/3 full with ice cubes. Prepare cold milk foam in the milk frother. Prepare espresso and mix with about 2 teaspoons of syrup per glass. Pour directly into the glasses. Pour cold milk from the milk frother into the glasses and top with the foam using a spoon.
